HMTC marked the anniversary of the Nat Turner Rebellion on August 21, 2020, with a presentation by historian Thorin Tritter, HMTC’s Museum and Programming Director. Dr. Tritter discussed Nat Turner’s Rebellion along with the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising as examples of resistance that was launched despite the expectation of brutal retaliation.
