In the this edition of “Curator’s Corner” from May 6, 2020, Dr. Thorin Tritter, HMTC’s Museum and Programming Director, explores a 1941 letter written to John Baron from the U.S. Government about Sabina Ghitman's visa application and provides insights into the bureaucratic hurdles that made it so difficult for Jews to get out of Nazi Germany and into the United States during the Holocaust.

HMTC needs your help now more than ever. Your donation will support HMTC’s virtual programming for students and adults. Help us continue to be able to provide Holocaust and Tolerance Education programs to schools and public programs for the community.
