Jack Steinberg invites fellow students and the general public to a bold new program that puts Holocaust testimony into conversation with today's most pressing topics.

Created by Jack, one of HMTC’s 2026 Upstanders of the Year, the documentary 5 Survivors, 5 Questions explores how Holocaust survivors view today's rising antisemitism in the context of their own experiences. Their perspectives will serve as a starting point for a guided conversation throughout the museum, where we will examine the steps and conditions that led to the Holocaust alongside the parallel developments of the present day.

Inspired by the wisdom of our survivors and the lessons of the past, participants in this program will be better prepared to accurately identify hate, guard against propaganda, and re-enter difficult conversations as confident advocates of the truth.
