HMTC's 2nd-generation (2G) Holocaust survivor committee is proud to host 2G and author Willie Handler for an intimate discussion surrounding his experiences as a 2G and his work in researching the effects of Holocaust survivor parents on their children.
As a child of Holocaust survivors, Willie offers a profound and personal exploration of intergenerational trauma and ways of translating into positive behaviors and actions. Beyond his writing, he is a dedicated advocate for the "Second and Third-Generation" survivor communities. Willie is active in the Toronto Holocaust Museum and also hosts monthly podcasts and webinars that provide a vital space for discussion, healing, and shared understanding of 2G legacy and responsibility.
Join us for this moving presentation as Willie shares insights on navigating the complexities of legacy and resilience.
Books will be available for purchase at the event.
